Welcome to the Circuit Clerk's office.

 

The Circuit Clerk provides a wide variety of services to the people of Newton County, including:

• Serving as clerk to the circuit courts, which handle civil and criminal trials
• Assisting the elections commission and providing election information to our citizens
• Conducting voter registration
• Coordinating the jury pool process and providing jury duty information
• Issuing marriage licenses

 

I am a lifelong resident of Newton County and have had the honor to serve you as circuit clerk since 2012. My staff and I are fully prepared to answer any questions you have and to guide you through the process and paperwork that may be required for any of the functions this office handles.
